A signed Andy Warhol photography book has turned up with a pile of old clothes handed into a London charity shop, claims the British Red Cross.

The book, Andy Warhol?s Exposures, is signed by the author on the first page and has been verified by Christie?s auction house as ?authentic?, according to the British Red Cross charity shop in Westminster.

The shop?s manager Tim Briggs said: ?I was just going through the usual motion of sorting bags of donations when I came across this book that looked quite interesting.?

The book will be auctioned to raise money for the British Red Cross. Bidders can enter the silent auction by calling 0207 7302235. The book is available to view at 85 Ebury Street, Westminster SW1W 9QU.

Bidding closes on 30 June.
