As we approach Black Friday some good deals are now rolling out. First up is a great deal on the Nikkor AF-S 16-80mm f/2.8-4E ED VR DX Zoom – read our original review here. It’s now on offer for £795 from Grays of Westminster. The lens, designed for DX (APS-C) Nikon DSLRs, is well-specified, with a versatile 5x zoom, 4-stop VR, electromagnetic diaphragm, relatively fast maximum aperture and compact form factor.
Meanwhile a range of retailers, including Park, Wex Photo Video, Clifton Cameras and Wilkinsons Cameras, are offering the Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 with Leica 12-60mm f/2.8 to 4 lens for £1529, saving £170. Features include a 20.3Mp sensor, a high-resolution EVF, 4K video capabilities and good handling and operability. “The GH5 is a richly featured camera with numerous useful tools that will benefit stills photography just as much as video,” we said in our original review. “The addition of five-axis image stabilisation is perhaps the most notable; indeed the fact that Panasonic’s Dual IS 2 performs exceptionally well in real-world use adds an extra dimension to the GH5 and greatly increases its overall flexibility.”

Last but not least this week also sees some early Black Friday discounts on a range of Samyang lenses: highlights include the AF 14mm F2.8 Canon EF down to £510 from £649.99, the AF 85mm F1.4 for Canon EF down to £479.99 from £599.99, and the AF 14mm F2.8 for Canon RF mount down to £504 from £630. Check out CameraWorld , Ffordes, and other leading retailers for some great deals.
