The images formed part of the autumn round of a competition organised by photographic charity PhotoVoice and professional printing service theprintspace.
‘Every quarter we see the standard of the submissions rising, and this quarter was no different with a huge number of fantastic quality submissions,’ organisers said.
The winner of the ‘Stories of Encounters’ contest is due to be announced on 5 November.
The shortlisted entries will go on show from 6-16 November at theprintspace, 74 Kingsland Road, London E2 8DL.
