Ricardas is an experienced strategic communication consultant with a great passion for photography.
Ricardas says, “I have a background in journalism and photojournalism. I view photography as not simply capturing moments as they happen, but as very vulnerable art, like a secret look through the stranger’s diary. A good photo is not an image but a mirror. In it you see your story, your feelings, memories, fears, other emotions.
My unique look at life is shaped by my childhood in care homes, prison guard experience in the army, in the severe Russian North, rich journalistic experience, books and colorful personal life. The more you live, the more questions than answers arise and I think that is reflected in my pictures. This photograph captures lovers, swimwear and a dog in the dust at the end of a hot summers day.”
Ricardas has received several international photography awards and has had photographs featured in press, photography websites and web-magazines. He has also had photos exhibited in the France, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Lithuania.
