Built for use on cameras with an APS-C-sized imaging sensor, there is a 21mm f/1.4 and 50mm f/1.2 – both manual-focus lenses – plus two cine lenses: a 21mm T1.5 and 50mm T1.3. The cine lenses appear to be aimed at users of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4.
The eight-elements-in-seven-groups 21mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC CS (priced £279.99) includes an extra-low dispersion lens and three aspherical lenses.
The 50mm f/1.2 AS UMC CS (£309.99), billed as an ideal portrait lens, is built from nine elements in seven groups, with two aspherical lenses.
The 21mm T1.5 (£309.99) and 50mm T1.3 (£339.99) boast quiet and smooth de-clicked focus and aperture gear rings.
The distance scale and T-numbers on the cine lenses are marked on both sides for convenience when filming, according to Samyang.
The four new lenses will be available in the following mounts: Sony E, MFT, Fujifilm X and Canon M.
Samyang now has 13 photo and cine lenses in its line-up.
