Samsung has revealed four new NV-series compacts, plus a trio of L-series cameras in addition to the new ?i8?.

Available from March the £249 NV24HD (pictured) is a 10-million-pixel camera that aims to deliver High Definition (HD) when transferred onto an HD-enabled TV screen.

Features also include a 2.5in LCD screen and video at ?720pixels? (at up to 30 frames per second).

Due out in February the 8MP NV4 (£149), 8MP NV30 (£179)and 10MP NV40 (£199) all feature a top equivalent ISO of ISO 3200, Advanced Shake Reduction and ?advanced noise reduction?. They also sport a 2.5in LCD monitor.

Meanwhile, bolstering Samsung?s clan of L-series models is the 8.1MP L100 (£99), 10.1MP L110 (£129)and 10.1MP L210 (£149).

Designed as ?easy-to-use? models they boast Digital Image Stabilisation and Intelligent Face Recognition technology. The maximum ISO is 1600, says Samsung, adding that shutter speeds of 1/1500sec are possible to help capture moving subjects.

The L100 will be available from next month while the L110 and L210 are due in UK shops in March.

Also making its debut is the 8.1MP i8, sporting a 2.7in ?touch screen? LCD monitor, built-in MP3 music player and Samsung?s World Tour Guide feature. The i8 costs £149 and is due out in February.
