Photographers raising thousands for Haiti Appeal

February 1, 2010

Equestrian photographers are raising thousands of pounds for the Haiti Earthquake Appeal.

Bids made in an online auction of images donated by 20 photographers so far total more than £2,500.

All cash raised from the horse pictures is due to go to the Disasters Emergency Committee Haiti Earthquake Appeal.

Among the equestrian photographers taking part are Tim Flach, Kit Houghton and Ed Whitaker.

‘The auction provides a rare chance for members of the public to get their hands on some amazing original images taken by a plethora of award-winning photographers,’ say organisers of the 20/20 project.

‘Each image will be signed, mounted and framed.’
