Online photo printing and sharing website PhotoBox has launched a service that allows photographers to make money from their photos by selling them via the PhotoBox site using their own online gallery.

PhotoBox says it will charge 10% commission for each sale and allow users to select the products they want to sell and the prices they charge.

‘The new Pro Gallery service gives all photographers an easy to use and free-to-set-up service, allowing them to create their gallery and start selling their images in just a few minutes,’ said PhotoBox managing director Mark Chapman.

Images are displayed via a customised gallery, which can be personalised with the photographer’s own logo and contact details.

PhotoBox was set up in 2000 and now has more than two million members.

The new service is officially launched today.
