It’s not been a good day for Kate Moss. On the day she reportedly lost an £80,000 Banksy painting in a burglary, photos of the supermodel naked in Marrakech in 1993 failed to find a buyer at an auction in London this afternoon.
The enlarged contact sheet featuring 14 nude Kate Moss images, by photographer Albert Watson, failed to reach its reserve price, a spokeswoman for Christie?s in South Kensington has confirmed.
The 70x90in chromogenic contact sheet print, mounted on aluminium, was estimated to fetch £20,000-30,000.
In 1997, a print from the same series sold for £54,000.
