The Macallan has named fashion photographer Mario Testino as its latest collaborator in its Masters of Photography project
A limited edition series of Mario Testinto edition whiskies will features one of four shots taken by the photographer.
The Macallan are also a sponsor of this year’s AP awards, which will take place in February.
Mario Testino originally rose to fame with his iconic portrait of Diana Princess of Wales in Vainty Fair in 1997, and subsequently for his work with Kate Moss.
Ken Grier, Director of The Macallan, said, ‘Mario’s emotional engagement coupled with the level of his creative involvement, heralds an evolution of the role of the Master in the Masters of Photography series, one which has brought about an exciting visual celebration of our fundamental Six Pillars.
‘Not only is he a historically important giant in contemporary photography, his elegance, charm and gentlemanly approach to creating this ultimate party has made him both a joy and an inspiration to work with.’

Testino is The Macallan’s fifth Master of Photography. Previous collaborators with the campaign include Elliot Erwitt, Annie Leibovitz, Rankin and Albert Watson.
The Macallan Masters of Photography: Mario Testino edition will be available in the UK from specialist whisky retailers, priced £2215.
