Lohan photography shoot ‘theft’: British police update (18 June 9.40am)
June 18, 2009
British Police this morning refused to confirm whether American actress Lindsay Lohan has been interviewed after jewellery worth more than £250,000 went missing after a photoshoot in London.
Asked to comment on reports that Lohan will not face a police quiz, a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman this morning told Amateur Photographer: ‘We would not discuss anyone who we were interviewing.’
The Met added: ‘Enquiries are continuing.’
The missing Dior jewellery went missing following a photoshoot for Elle magazine at a studio in Islington earlier this month.
Meanwhile, the magazine is reported to have said it has no reason to believe the 22-year-old was in any way responsible for the disappearance of the gems.
