Lexar have confirmed a number of their memory products have passed the popular action-cam producer’s ‘Works with GoPro’ verification. According to their statement, their Professional 1000x (32GB, 64GB, 128GB) and High-performance 633x (32GB, 64GB, 128GB) microSD card ranges will now be compatible for use with GoPro products.
GoPro is currently one of the world’s most popular camera manufacturers, having become almost synonymous with the action camera in recent years. According to GoPro, their ‘Works with GoPro’ programme is a series of vigorous tests to validate the performance, quality and reliability of compatible third-party products before they receive their support.
Adam Silver of GoPro said of the announcement: “GoPro cameras are designed to capture unforgettable moments and users need to feel confident that they can capture this content on a memory card with high speed, durability, and reliability. Lexar’s emphasis on these attributes, and its commitment to enhancing the capture experience for its customers, makes it a great fit for the Works with GoPro Program.”
On top of being tested by GoPro, all Lexar products are tested in their in-house Quality Labs, to make sure they’re reaching the standards the industry sets.
