Leica M9 firmware boosts ‘Italian translation’

Leica has updated the firmware for its M9 full-frame system camera, benefits of which are said to include ?improving the menu?s Italian translation?.

The firm says that firmware update 1.162 also adds colour calibration to ?noticeably reduce chromatic differences between the centre and corners of an image?.

The firmware is also said to optimise the M9?s software processes to ?significantly reduce the red edges effect?.
