Leica M shortage is over in UK, says firm
February 14, 2014
Last year, Leica warned photographers to expect delays when ordering the Leica M, telling dealers this was triggered by ‘enormous demand’.
Though the Leica M went on sale in early 2013, the firm says ‘international demand outstripped production capacity’, and it was
‘available only by order with a waiting time’.
The Leica M is a 24-million-pixel rangefinder camera with live view, HD video and an optional EVF.
The £5,100 camera was announced at the Photokina trade show in Cologne, Germany in September 2012.
