Martin will talk about his photographs of Libya and Egypt, alongside key images, for the first time since he was badly injured in a rocket attack in Misrata last April.
The photographer, who is a lecturer at University College Falmouth, will be in conversation with Julian Rodriguez, who heads up the college?s Department of Media.
The talk is one of a number of events that include an exhibition of Martin?s work called Shifting Sands, which runs from 10-14 January.
?The photography frames a series of events highlighting the heavy price that can be paid by frontline photojournalists, in the cause of documenting the struggle for freedom,? said a college spokesperson.
Tickets for ?Guy Martin in conversation? cost £10 (£7 concessions). The event starts at 7.30pm.
The college says proceeds will go to The Rory Peck Trust which supports freelance newsgatherers and their families.
We understand that the free-to-enter exhibition may also tour the UK after its Falmouth showing.
