Photographers who own or want to hire a Hasselblad camera are set to have access to a new ?drive-in? studio facility in London.

Based in Hoxton Square, east London, the 2,000 sq ft studio houses a changing room for models, dedicated styling and hairdressing area, plus a kitchen and parking space.

?The new studio will be available from mid-August to any registered Hasselblad owner, photographers hiring a Hasselblad camera, or even those using a Hasselblad body with a third-party digital back,? said Hasselblad UK?s managing director Chris Russell-Fish.

Photographers can hire the studio for up to a week at a time, from around £300 a day.

This is much cheaper than other London studios, according to Russell-Fish.

?These are difficult times for photographers,? he added. ?Costs are rising and work opportunities have seen a decline. This new initiative will give professional photographers, serious amateurs and students a viable, fully equipped studio option right in the middle of London.?
