The Guild of Photographers has embarked on a nationwide publicity campaign to boost membership.

In a bid to widen its appeal the Guild of Photographers has enlisted the help of public relations firm, Porcupine PR.

The 18-year-old organisation wants to promote membership benefits such as ?supplier discounts?, as well as focusing on ?attracting consumers who are seeking professional photographers?.

The body prides itself on offering members ?professional friendly support and training with the chance to gain Master Craftsman?s? qualifications?.

A spokesman added: ?We?re shortly going to be launching a new separate website specifically for wedding photographers. It will also be for brides and grooms who are looking for photographers to take their wedding pictures.?
