The first of a series of events allowing consumers to get a close look at the Olympus OM-D E-M1 camera has been announced.

‘Olympus Image Space @ The Loading Bay’, which begins tomorrow and runs until Monday September 23, will allow attendants to get first-hand experience of how the OM-D E-M1 handles.

Help will be provided by the Olympus team, who will be on hand to assist with operation of the camera.

There will also be images on display at the Loading Bay Gallery, including Gabrielle Motola’s series ‘Women of Iceland’ and some of the first images ever shot on an OM-D E-M1 by Olympus Principal Photographer Damien McGillicuddy.

Attendants on certain days will also be privy to an additional event, in which Olympus Ambassador Photographers will help visitors use the OM-D E-M1 to capture shots of urban and street performers.

These sessions will run on the hour from 11am to 5pm, on September 20-22 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Olympus Image Space will be held at The Loading Bay Gallery, Dray Walk (off Brick Lane, London E1 6NJ, from September 18-23. For more information, visit www.olympus.co.uk.
