The Reflecta RPS 10M film scanner is designed to scan from 3-36 film-strip frames.

Mounted slides must be placed in the scanner manually, however.

It also features Magic Touch, a dust and scratch removal system, plus a USB interface and external power adapter for PC and Mac systems.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 software is bundled with the kit, which costs £696 and is due out now.

Reflecta says the RPS 10M film scanner has a scanning resolution of ‘10,000dpi’, and can scan a full-resolution image in 7mins.

Paul Kench, managing director of UK distributor Kenro, said: ‘This new Reflecta scanner is a very effective working tool for those who need to scan batches of film strips, as it can be left alone after placing the negatives or transparencies into the feeder.

‘The built-in scratch and dust removal also ensures that minimal post-scanning work is required.’
