The Erotic Review is offering a £1,000 prize to the winner of its second erotic photography competition.
Last year, members of the public cast nearly half a million votes – via the internet – for the £250 Readers? Prize, according to organisers.
A panel of six judges will decide the overall winner.
A spokeswoman for the Erotic Review Photographer of the Year Prize 2009 said: ?From the dawn of photography in the first half of the 19th century, eroticism has played a crucial part in the development of the medium we take so much for granted today.?
Entrants must be aged 18 or over (on 1 January 2008) and pay a £20 registration fee to submit a series of up to 12 images.
Organisers state that entries may be reproduced for free in connection with the competition.
The closing date is 31 January 2009.
