Born Edda van Heemstra Hepburn-Ruston in Belgium, the bewitching Hollywood actress Audrey Hepburn, pictured here in 1956, is one of the most graceful and glamorous actresses of the 20th century. She possessed a poise and elegance that few before or after have matched and this is clearly apparent in films such as, 'Roman Holiday', 'Sabrina', 'Funny Face', 'My Fair Lady' and 'The Nun's Story'. Hepburn won critical acclaim when she was cast as Holly Golightly in the screen adaptation of 'Breakfast At Tiffany's'. The star remained a public favourite for her devotion to the advancement of the welfare of children through selfless globetrotting work on behalf of UNICEF. Sadly she died in from cancer in 1993. 1956

Founded by Tom Blau in 1947 the agency represents some of the biggest names in photography including Snowdon, Karsh and Lichfield.
To celebrate the milestone the agency published a brochure designed to illustrate the breadth of its coverage from celebrity portraits and reportage to lifestyle and music images, for example.
