At the Broadcast Video Expo 2014, AP’s Technical Writer Jon Devo spent some time with James Banfield from Nikon UK to get the inside story on the update to the firm’s flagship DSLR, the D4s.

Chief among the improvements on the Nikon D4s, according to James, is the new Expeed 4 processor, which significantly improves the noise and colour control, allowing the D4s to operate at hitherto unexplored ISO heights of ISO 409,600.

James also spoke about professional photographers who’ve had a chance to play with the D4s, and gave his verdict on how the new DSLR stacks up against the competition.
