Police have charged two people on suspicion of murdering a 55-year-old amateur photographer in Gloucester.

Kim Hibberd (pictured right) died from injuries he sustained following an incident near his home in the early hours of 1 January.

A spokeswoman for Gloucestershire Police told us: ?An 18-year-old woman from Gloucester and a 32-year-old man from Matson were arrested on suspicion of murder on 12 January….?

She added: ?They have both been charged with murder and the woman has also been charged with perverting the course of justice.?

The photographer was well known locally for his shots of county landmarks, as well as for animal and nature pictures.

Kim died from his injuries on 3 January in Frenchay Hospital, Bristol.

It is understood that Kim was about to embark on a project to record the restoration of St Michael?s Tower, where he held an exhibition of his work last year.
