Amateur photographer ‘drowns’ on wildlife mission

An amateur photographer has drowned while pursuing his fascination for birds.

Robin Ranjan, 21, drowned after losing his balance while standing on a tree trunk at Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh, India, according to a report in The Times of India.

Robin’s friend Yamman Kumar had jumped into the lake to try to save him.
