AP’s art editor chooses his favourite reader
image from the past week’s uploads to our Reader Gallery.
My choice this week is
mattwebuks’ ‘Path to the top (part deux)’. The composition is essentially three
elements and textures – the rough scrub of the foreground lit by the fading
sun, the smoother hills beyond and the smeared clouds produced by the 30-second
exposure. Combined with the interlocking angles, the image verges on the
abstract. Well done, Matt.
