Park Cameras customers are being offered the chance to be some of the first consumers in the UK to get hands-on with the brand new Panasonic G80, announced earlier this week at Photokina 2016 in Germany. They’re teaming up with professional wildlife photographer and recent winner of the Young Environmental Photographer of the Year, Luke Massey to demonstrate the camera, where he’ll also be displaying and talking about some of the images and 4K videos he’s captured while testing the camera in the field.

As a well-regarded wildlife photographer and cameraman, Luke has been fortunate enough to get his hands on the Panasonic G80 early, and has been using his passion for wildlife and photography to put the camera through its paces. As such, Park Cameras say there is no-one better to guide visitors through the camera’s features, and to inspire their photography.

Luke will explain the benefits this new mirrorless Compact System Camera can bring to photographers and videographers – particularly those who like to shoot the great outdoors – with features including 4K Photo, Post Focus and a new Focus Stacking feature.

In addition, a technical expert from Panasonic UK will be on-hand to assist Luke with any questions that might be raised about the camera or the range of G-series lenses and accessories that are available.

The event will be held on 19 October 2016 at Park Cameras’ Rathbone Place, London store. Places will be limited at this free event, and Park Cameras have two time slots to choose from; 1pm or 6pm. Each session will last for approximately 1 hour, with additional time for visitor questions. For full details and to book a free space, visit www.parkcameras.com/events.
