While all photographers dream of the ‘perfect’ shot in genres from landscape to street photography, the stars very rarely align for us truly perfectly. More often than not, factors outside our control will let little annoyances creep into our most prized photographs; distracting little details or trespassing travellers ruining our sweeping landscape.
In the realm of digital photography, this has lead to what remains for many the holy grail of photo-editing: removing objects completely. It’s also the subject of much debate amongst photographers: how much manipulation is not enough, how much is too much?
Do you like to remove unwanted aspects of your photography or do you see it as cheating? Let us know.
