    Does anyone have or have in stock a case for a Pentax Z1 (not Z1p) the full thing back and front this is usually a complete set for £45. I would consider one second hand in good nick. Thanks. Sorry about posting it in here too but I thought I might get more joy on the Penatx thread.

    Hi John
    I was going to suggest that you would need a very big case to hold a Kawasaki Z1, but then I thought;
    "No,better not, he might have had the <font color=blue>"Sense of Humour by-pass"</font color=blue> operation done"......So.....

    PS What kind of tanks are you into? Plastic or huge RC jobs? Just curious

    .......ah yes, I remember the Z1 900 well. Went round corners like a pogo stick with a hinge in the middle! Still.........with those four lovely chrome exhausts you could forgive it almost anything! (apologies for going off topic........just the ramblings of an old biker!)

    I haven't had the sense of humour bypass yet but I am married ? Does that count as the same thing ? My mate has a CBR 600 it's a bit scratched.

    I take pictures of real tanks, that's when the 19-35mm Cosina lense comes in usefull especially in museums when there's little room considering the size of the things.

    I also make model tanks as you speculated wee ones 1/76 scale medium sized ones 1/35 & 1/25th and biggish RC ones 1/15th scale.

    I would appreciate any sensible suggestions too !

    John,

    They should still have some stock at Pentax UK and
    be available through dealers. I can check for avail-
    ability in the Pentax warehouse in Vancouver and/or
    Toronto and if they have them perhaps something can
    be arranged to get one to you via the shop the shop
    where I work.........allegedly&lt;img src="/img/wwwthreads/wink.gif"&gt;.

    Re: Hardcase

    Thanks all, but I went to my local camera store and ordered one on Saturday. Should take at least a month as there are none in stock at Pentax UK and it will have to come from Japan.

    Other than the usual family snaps I take pictures in museums of tanks and photos of bands playing, mostly in little clubs in available light.
