Hmm, no idea what's happened there. Try this: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AvyHTKOAM542t29oFLMIfBi5nSq-?e=OMsq7w
Take me to MY OneDrive photos...
Hmm, it worked for all the people who had to use them.....
Tried again, and it works. One Drive does do some weird stuff like that from time to time.
Worked like a charm, Mike, and I really like this photo:
A very cool set of photos, BTW
The brief was to show the sponsors how the charity is keeping the local community involved in the development and additionally to provide some online promo shots for future use. The grand opening will be next assignment, but that's held up because when they tested the loos, they found all the pipes to the drains had been sealed off when the new estate was built on the old hospital grounds. There is now no main drain in the vicinity.
There's some weird shit that goes on sometimes. I'll get my coat...
My next project is to get back in to photography! I keep dipping my toe back in only to get dragged back out. Which has makes it hard for me to keep motivation and inspiration fired up. As well as a consistent eye
It's difficult sometimes to get motivated. For me I look over my old favourites to remind me what I can achieve. This has also led onto me collating my photos differently, into themes. I found this really helpful, it made me think about what I had taken in a differerent way and in a way that I could use.
Just as a quick update to this - I told the group when we first started that I wanted them to put on an exhibtiion and we've just taken it down this week. Between four members, they produced 66 exhibition worthy prints and we had an open day which was kindly attended by both our SNP MP and our labour MSP and opened by photographer Alan Dimmick. I'm just about to process the orders for prints which they sold, and one member is getting his image on the front cover of a mental health service's community magazine. The exhibition is then going to go to the local Community Hub for a week in January. I'm so pleased for them all - I don't think they really ever thought it would happen and I know some were very apprehensive about putting their work out for public consumption but it went down a storm!
Wow, that's brilliant! How difficult was it to find a suitable venue for the exhibition?
Very good - there must be a real sense for everyone of having achieved something worthwhile
We held the exhibition at the hub where I run the workshops, but we have also got the local Community Centre to agree to host it later on and then it may even go to the local library which also has exhibition space. My experience has been that where things are for charity you can get quite a lot of local cooperation for these things.
