Who say's 4/3rds is not good enough?

    I agree entirely. The liveview focus speed is great, as is the small size. It's why I use the g3 for most of my street shots. But, if I had to choose only either a top end slr or m43, it would be the slr every time. The quality is top notch, and then there is the quality and choice of lenses. I do a fair bit of macro stuff with a tamron 90mm lens which is pin sharp. Can't think of an m43 lens that comes close to it, let alone the top Nikon stuff. Same applies for other, more specialised lenses such as telephoto etc.
    If ultimate quality is your goal then the choice is clear, but not everyone is obsessed with top end quality and not everyone can afford the budget required. M43 offers a great alternative, which for many, offers more than enough quality in much more discreet, light and affordable package with several advantages of its own, such as the focus etc mentioned rightly by yourself.
