    In reality I have one see photo, a Celestron 8" Edge HD

    Buy photographically once they were all the rage, YES I know the arguments and reality, fixed small aperture, but they were onced a much admired and loved lens, or rather schmidt Cassegrain scope.

    I see on Ebay they are going up in price, once as low as £20 not £80+

    I have a Sigma 600 f8 Mirror, obviously manual focus, it rarely gets used but I have no complaints about the image quality.

    Too long most of the time, for birds a zoom is more useful as some come very close.
