@Catriona , if you like Gershwin this may be of interest, Porgy& Bess sung by Cleo Laine and Ray Charles (I saw a copy on Amazon - second hand over £150, I got mine from new!) https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=porgy+and+bess+cleo+laine+ray+charles
This evening radio 3 has been broadcasting a new piece by Max Richter called Voices; it's to mark Human Rights Day. Absolutely lovely in parts, annoyingly pretentious in others. Classic Richter!
A televised concert of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. I still enjoy it after all these years. Also Daniel Barenboim’s Mozart the complete piano concertos. Is it really 40 years since John Lennon was killed?
I looked at a few of their remixes, thanks. I ended up here though. A cover of my favourite DM song, the B side of their first single. I have seen them a few times now, the first time in 1981 in Fagins, a small club in Manchester. I just googled to see when it was. Apparently I also saw Blancmange as the support. Must have been drunk or... Edit. I have found a recording from that Manchester gig in 1981 on YouTube. Thanks for bringing me here tonight
I’ve just spoken to my mate who I went to the gig with. He doesn’t remember Blancmange either. It could be an age thing I guess!
