"Songs to Learn & Sing, the Best of... - Echo & the Bunnymen." Have you heard The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon?
The Scots may have made some decent records however. Admittedly here they had some help from some English chap. What a fecking great record though.
Not listening exactly but the line "hang the DJ" is stuck in my head thanks to the word association game.
Had to search this thread for an album that I thought @Zou mentioned but couldn’t find it. I had no idea of the title or the artist, so started again. It turns out it was @Dan S who recommended it. So I have listened to quite a few albums today ranging from Tubeway Army to Toydrum and Gavin Clarke, to Joni Mitchell and now on the album from Dan Alela Diane and The Pirates Gospel. This album deserves a glass of Merlot. Fleurie
It's good one isn't it, one of my favourites. Philharmonics by Agnes Obel is another one that got me hooked on the first listen, I don't know if you have come across her before, but well worth a listen.
No I haven’t but will check her out. Currently got Sinead O’Connor - Don’t cry for me Argentina playing.
