Meet Glen Campbell. An album of cover versions by the man himself. His version of Green Day's 'Good Riddance' and the Foo Fighters' 'Times Like These' are brilliant.

Yeah. Not listened to it for a long time but it just sort of popped into my head. It's great isn't it? I didn't even have to put the CD on, just ask good old Alexa!

Just how good is this song. Almost guaranteed to bring a tear.

I have no idea why, but this morning an album I have not heard for many, many years just popped into my head. No idea what prompted it.

    So currently have on
    I Robot . The Alan Parson's project.

Edit. Been trying to figure out why I thought of this album, going back through any links in my mind and it has come to me why.
I was watching the Umbrella Academy last night and featured "I was made for loving you" by Kiss. In 1979 I was on a school exchange visit and was living with a German family. Stefan loved Kiss. Hearing that track made me think of him. He also played this album a lot.I can only assume that is why it just popped into my head this morning.

    "Video Unavailable."

No sweat, I have it on CD. And vinyl.

And they were pretty good when I saw them on their last visit to the UK. :)

A nice joyful start to the day. Johnny Cash.

Why do I mostly listen to sad music?

The Peaky Blinders on TV has a great soundtrack and as such I have been listening to The Peaky Blinders station (similar music to that featured in the program) on Amazon Music. Some great tracks, a lot I have never heard before.
