Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade - Leif Segerstam with the Sinfónica de Galicia. Trying out my new cheapo AKG K52 headphones on the Macbook Pro. May not please those with bat ears but I'm very impressed...

Just heard from Alex's (the singer) mum. Looks like their first album is going straight in to Number one. They will find out tomorrow.

Haha. I think they have quite a big indie following.

Well they only made No2 apparently, not knocking Lady GaGa off the top spot. He did get a call from Lady GaGa though and some flowers delivered, which is pretty cool I guess.

(Not that I am interested in the charts what so ever, but it's pretty good when I know the lad and his family well)

For some reason, Ride Like The Wind by Christopher Cross just came into my mind, so just had a quick visit to YouTube and found it. Then follwed it up with Sailing by him as well.

    A new band to me.

Wooden Shjips and the album called Back to Land.
Well worth a listen (if you have my taste in music that is!)

Some Daft Punk remixes, pushing me along to a high calorie burning pace on the indoor bike setup.

Started with Kraftwerk but it was too slow.

So you weren't cycling on the Autobahn then?

That was the first track. Funny how it isn't as fast as an autobahn. Even Tour de France isn't actually at a good speed for cycling.

Somehow ended up with Give 'Em Enough Rope by The Clash. Forgotten how good it was to be angry. :D

This. She's a guitarist with Alice Cooper but has some great solo stuff out. Drummer is her boyfriend. Can't wait for a UK tour. She's my new favourite shredder! Listen with the Bass turned up!
