    You are correct snorri, I'm still looking but I have a few comps to go to in the next few months and would like some nice sharp pics. If I can use extension tubes on the 50mm then that would be brilliant!

    In which case there's the 85mm f/1.8, though that will be pretty long with the crop factor!

    I can only imagine you've not seen the work of a master of such a lens - check many of these out.

    You'd also have a year long wait before taking delivery, which shows how high demand is for the lens despite the price!
