That's very much the case now, especially in the environs of Wolverhampton.

    Stereotyping older people....
I was having a beer when a couple of 30 something women walked in, I mentioned I liked the clear plastic raincoats they were wearing ideal for when the weather is as unsettled as it is now and at some point one of them asked me how old I was when I told her she said "Do you live around here?" I said I did and she said: "That's a pity if you lived in Redbridge there's this group that meets every Friday afternoon in the Central Library for the over 60's , well it's been closed because of Covid but my gran loves going there, they do all sorts of things like coach trips, bingo, afternoon teas and singalongs to all the old songs"
I pointed out even if I did live in Redbridge I work full-time
    "What you're not a pensioner?!"
I informed her I don't get my state pension for another 4 years and even when I do I plan to go on a bit longer (okay when I do and I no longer have to pay NI as well I'm considering say 3-4 days a week if I can arrange it)
She said "But you must love a singalong"
I said "Yeah how about Thunderstruck by AC/DC?"
She said "WHAT?! Amazing you're into rock at your age!"

Likewise. I cannot buy direct from the company though because the have obviously dropped in cookies and their web site only comes up with the rip off they imagine I will fall for. Amazon on the other hand...

I've also walked in to PC World and got the same price as Amazon.

Is the walking important here, or could one crawl or cartwheel into PC World, and still get the same deal? :D

Have you tried getting in to PC World recently? I'm told that about 3 weeks ago, it was quite a palaver.

I use IBM Security Rapport and Malwarebytes, both provided free as a courtesy by my bank.

I use Windows Defender (free), and Malwarebytes (subscription). The Malwarebytes sub covers 3 devices for $NZ35.44 per year.
