I just wish they would leave the clocks at GMT. You're not getting any more daylight, just shifting it around.

I'd never realised you work with my brother - you have my very deepest sympathy (and a promise not to tell if you drop the fecker in the lagoon).

Yep. I was ready to get up at 5.15am. Managed to stay in bed another half hour. Going to be a long Sunday! (sigh).

I've just had to change a light bulb. To do this, I had to search through a box of options to find the right one. Having moved to a house where there are bayonet fixings, screw fixings of different diameters, halogen (a mistake), 'ordinary' old ones and new LED, it took me a while to sort them out. Found one eventually (LED, narrow screw). Fed up already!

Trying to change the clock on the microwave without resorting to the manual. It's not the most intuitive bit of kit.

Easy, man! Unplug it, and then plug it back in at midnight. Job done! :D

Yes but stopping up until 2am when the clocks need to go back makes me very sleepy...

I did my high kitchen clock yesterday. Doesn't seem to have done it any harm! Ha!

But when you've turned them back to 01:00 you'll be wide awake! :D

I'm envious - the clock on my well known brand microwave is near useless as a clock. OK as a timer. Nowhere near as accurate as the earlier model which failed after many years of good service.

The clock on our microwave gains time quite considerably (a cheap Wilko one), so that when we get to BST next spring, it might be right! The previous one, a Panasonic, also gained time.

The new one probably keeps Chinese time.

Got three clocks to do when I can be bothered, kitchen, oven, and bedside. I don't bother with the microwave.

People actually set the correct time on kitchen appliances?
