Just watched a film called Lion on Netflix. A really good film. You may end up with watery eyes.
Capture on BBC iplayer.
I treated myself to a BluRay version of the BBC's Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, and binged on it yesterday.
Last man standing on Amazon prime.
...Tim Allen in a newer version of home improvement kind of thing.
"I signed a petition once. Didn't have quite the effect on the Taliban that I had hoped"
Watched an old episode of Midsomer Murders which included Neil Dudgeon as a slightly dodgy gardener. No sign that Nettles recognised his "cousin" though.
In the episode my wife is currently watching no-one considered it suspicious that the farmer who found the body was shooting partridge well out of season. I guess rural policing budgets are the first to be cut.
The Watchmen on Sky Atlantic. I think I'm going to enjoy this.
Is this a new serialisation? The movie was (I thought) great in parts but terrible in others.
I wasn't that convinced myself.
Yes it is new. I never saw the movie.
Probably because I saw the movie. It just didn't grab me, maybe its a grower.
And there’s nothing wrong with a grower
We watched El Camino last night. Whilst I enjoyed it enough, I did find it a bit dissapointing.
Just finished Carnival Row on Amazon Prime. Enjoyed that and it was a lot better than I expected.
Europe from above Pt 1. On Natural Geographic.
Tracking the live commentary of Juventus v Milan. Dybala just scored.
The hunger games films. Just started the second one.
I also happened to see that episode. Very confusing!
The Inbetweener on Sky Witness.
I have seen 2 very good films this week.
Official Secrets and Joker. I recommend them both. Joker is excellent but quite uncomfortable viewing.
