I think Netflix is quite good actually, a fair bit of choice.

Started watching the second series of "Killing Eve2 last night. Jody Comer and Sandra Oh are great in it.

 

Catch-22 on Channel 4. Another slow-burner I think.

 

Just started watching season 3 of Stranger Things

 

Only discovered Stranger Things last week, I've binged on seasons 1 and 2 and watched the 1st episode of season 3 yesterday.

 

DC Titans on Netflix. I'm not usually one for comic book superhero stuff, but my wife was watching it and I got hooked.

 

I've not watched that yet. Does it stand up on its own merits or are you supposed to know about the wider DC universe?

 

It works as a stand-alone. It helps if you know about Batman & Robin, but it does fill in the background as you go along.

 

Good to know, thanks. It's the kind of thing we might well enjoy but aren't really into DC.

 

Russian Doll on Netflix. Weird, quirky, dark, funny.

 

I watched it. it began to irritate me, but finished it nonetheless.

 

Best drama on TV for a long time...the cricket world cup final.

 

My niece messaged me to check that my ticker wasn't playing up during the final throes of the game.

 

Seriously, can cricket get that exciting?
I wouldn't have thought it would be exciting enough to make an incontinent person dribble a bit of wee, let alone affect someones heart.

 

I think the phrase for yesterday was gripping drama, full of tension with twists and turns. Not necessarily the biff bang bash style that England were supposed to play.

 

Tour de France 6 hours a day for three weeks.

 

I ended up watching Blow Up on Netflix as my wife was watching it. It is a competition about glass blowers (yeah, that was what I thought too). Not a comment about the show as such, but I was really amazed at what the glass blowers/artists actually made. I was even more amazed about the lack of PPE used by most of the blowers.

 

Norsemen on Netflix. Appeals to my sense of humour.
