That is an excellent cover. I had a hard time choosing between that and the original to walk down the aisle to - I chose Nina in the end! :)

    [/QUOTE]

That's such a cool song to walk down the isle to. I think in that situation I'd agree with your choice of the original.

It certainly cracked me up. Quite appalling. Only the great Marc Bolan could do his songs true justice.

THE BOSS:- Seeger sessions. My good lady hates Bruce but loves the album. Dixie meets Irish infuence somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic. Honest. Its a foot tapper.

I really like Violater. I know Songs of Faith & Devotion was not received as well but Violater is great to drive to and when SoFD gets it right ('In your room' IIRC for example)it really goes!

Humm, 'Transformer'....now where did I put that?

Best concert I ever went to was the Boss at Wembley Stadium on 4th July 1985. Dreadful sound, but amazing performance. :D

DJ Shadow - Building Steam With A Grain Of Salt.

BTW, I didn't rate the David Gilmour album at all, I found it so boring to listen too. Pink Floyd tracks grab me and I love them, but I really didn't like On An Island one bit.

Having a wide range of tastes is good!

    btw:
That song just annoys me! Javert's numbers are much better (Stars or his suicide) not that I'm biased you understand... *looks shifty*

(ok, I played Javert a couple of years ago when my local youth theatre did les mis!)

    And so it is
Just like you said it would be
    Life goes easy on me
    Most of the time

    And so it is
    The shorter story
    No love, no glory
    No hero in her sky

I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
    I can't take my eyes

    And so it is
Just like you said it should be
    We both forget the breeze
    Most of the time

    And so it is
    The colder water
    The blower's daughter
    The pupil in denial

I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
I can't take my eyes off you
    I can't take my eyes

    Ooooh
Did I say that I loathe you?
Did I say that I want to?
    Leave it all behind

I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you
I can't take my mind off you
