I like The Tubes. Saw them perform live at Portsmouth Guildhall a few years back - very slick and it was the first concert I went to where the live sound mirrored the vinyl recording perfectly.

    My ears are filled with...

...the birds outside my window as I update a talk I'm giving to a camera club tomorrow night.

Emily was listening to Siouxsie and the Banshees - that brings back memories of listening to the John Peel Show at night back in the late Seventies. Used to like the Friday Rock Show with Tommy Vance and that Van Der Graaf Generator opening theme which I only managed to acquire a copy of on CD a couple of years ago off eBay.

It's that luxury fabric that top-of-the-range sofas and suites are made of. ;)

Used to use if for car seats too but it got too expensive (and hot when they had been in the sun!)

and I suspect quite a few folk where conceived whilst their parents were listening to it

I wanted to call my eldest daughter Sarah, I'm a big Dylan fan . . . . . but it got the thumbs down :(

Very odd, I'd actually been thinking about Depeche Mode a lot the last day, Violator specifically :D Brings back a lot of memories.

Mainly John Martyn......enough virtuousity and diversity there to fend of the boredom...

I knew they were related, but not how!.

From what i read they only released one song together, though i guess some of the synth stuff on DG albums may have had some input from the brothers Hartnoll.

After all the mentions of Violator, its on again

    Muse - Supermassive Black Hole

Is that Album any good, It would seem that its that album and supporting it that stop him from getting back together with Pink Floyd :( Shame because I missed them at Live8, I had to catch my train!
