I know how they feel... Thanks Adrian. The Noon is a lovely camera, but once I got the film out of it, if it was possible to make a mistake, I made it. S
Did the foam on the rollfilm backs of my 1968 MAMIYA Press Super 23 that I have not used for YEARS ! I Gave it an outing in my Garden during the 'Lockdown' with a roll of 120 09/1987 Dated Kodak VR 400 found in fridge . I tried rating it at 50 ASA which on processing in C41 was about right ! There was a HUGE FOG LEVEL but IMAGES !! Some had Lens flare and some were too boring to scan. This was with the 100mm f3.5 Sekor lens and a little back movement. 1/15th @ f11 Mamiya Press Super 23 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr 150mm f5.6 Sekor with back pulled out to focus closer. 1/15th @F11 Mamiya Press Super 23 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr

Vito II, R80s Rodinal semistand: I was expecting golf ball grain, but almost none. No noise reduction, just a touch of sharpening and contrast. No idea why, but Rodinal semistand again in future methinks. S
Here are some pics taken on a July 2002 dated Ilford Delta 400 Pro found in my Fridge which I wanted to use up , in my 1984 Mamiya C220 in Central Park, Chelmsford, Essex 80mm f2.8 'Blue Dot' Sekors Chelmsford Arches 01 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr Chelmsford Arches 03 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr 135mm f4.5 'Blue Dot' Sekors Chelmsford Arches 04 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr CHELMSFORD + Old Delta 400 Pro + C220 01 by Peter Elgar, on Flickr
My latest 'GIFT' from teh Widow Lady who gave me lots of OM gear was a 1960's Viogtlander 'VITO CLR' with 50mm f2.8 'Lanthar' lens -- I have tested it with daylighht anf flash and it all works -- even the Selenium Cell Meter is accurate --- I did a VIDEO about it -- you can see it HERE : VITO CLR First Tests by Peter Elgar, on Flickr VITO CLR First Tests by Peter Elgar, on Flickr Voigtlander Vito CLR by Peter Elgar, on Flickr
Funny you should say that, Pete, I've just picked up a Voigtlander Ultramatic that must be the same date, judging by the logo in the wind indicator. Unfortunately my shutter is toast - it's actualy rusted together - so won't be producing results like yours again. I don't know who was styling Voigtlander's cameras at the time, but don't they look good?
OM2n and Fomapan 200 in Rod semistand: First Olympus I've ever owned. Should have got one decades ago. S
And now the OM1n and Fomapan 100: Come on then! Fits on my hand but bullies two GSD's, one Husky/GSD, assorted collies... use in accordance chase S
And another new toy, Leica IIIf +Fomapan 200 and rodinal stand: Rangefinder spot a bit weak and needs a CLA, so in Newton-Ellis for tlc. S
I hadn't realised just how small the III's were. This was just a test film, but I found myself liking it more and more. Possibly even more than the Vito II... S edit to spell "than".
I've only ever handled a pre-M once, but it was jewel-like, and an absolute delight in the hand. Must be good if you like it more than the Vito II, given how much that butters your parsnips!
