until, once more, menacing clouds shrouded the earth, gusts of wind caused trees to bend in submission, lightning lanced the sky in glittering anger, and thunder shook the land. it was an omen of dreadful change and Anneka trembled uncontrollably.....

...but no - it was not the end for Jack grabbed Anneka saying "where have you been all my life, you beautiful thing?" to which Anneka coyly replied, "waiting for you, you enormous hunk of masculinity". Jack led her to his flying car, which was floating nearby and...

From within the smouldering wreckage came a faint but audible groan of disbelief. Will this interminable farcical farrago ever reach a conclusion?

Jack's friend Henry guided his para glider to a halt a few feet from the burning car, stepped out of his harness and with a smooth and supple flick of his writst curled the tip of his whip around the ejection lever of the crashed hover car. A slight jerk and both seats exploded out of the wreckage, their canopies opened and lowered the occupants to earth. "How are you?" Henry asked his friend. But they were there....oh yes they were there....to what purpose no-one ever found out as they departed as quickly as they came. Whilst from within the smouldering A1000 came a manic cackle and the face of James May appeared. "Soon have this back on the road" he grinned and set to with spanner and wrench.

But dyslexia has many faces, and in this instance a spaniel and a wench set off down the road in company with James May. The spaniel barked furiously, and because she was very angry, so too did the wench. May also began to look hangdog. For a moment he almost wished he were back in company witih Clarkson and Hammond, but that feeling quickly passed, which cheered him no end until the next tragedy began to unfold......
