Hi just wondering if anyone has any experimenting with a sony A5000 i bought one cheap look amzing i dont always like taking it out so opted for mirrorless would be nice to knaw if you hve any tips ir insights.

 

I use a NEX 6 and I guess the most the two cameras have in common is the 16-50 lens. You will get better results from the camera if you find some decent alternative glass. The 16-50 isn't a complete dog, I still use mine when lightness and compactness are the key requirements. It's somewhere between adequate and mediocre, but you will better exploit the sensor with a few old primes, or the Sigma auto focus fixed focal length lenses. The E fit Zeiss prime lenses may be good, but they are ludicrously expensive.
