    Yes, I formatted them on camera. I also tried formatting on the pc in both FAT16 and FAT32.

    I suspect that it may be an issue with the read speed.
    If I look at a picture and then move to the next it's fine, if I try to scroll through a few picture at a time it errors. All the pictures are still there if I look on the PC but the camera can't see the card until I reformat it,
    then off you go again...

    As you have found out, the Japanese and US prices are slightly cheaper, but the thing you have to be careful of is when they get shipped to this country, Customs can posess them, and charge you UK tax (17.5%) on top of what you have already paid.

    If you were to import them (for the sake of £30), you could end up paying £639.82 for the Japanese, £622.27 for the US one.

    eBay would be tempting, but I would be dubious about the purchase (it's been out less than a month, and there's one already on there ?!?). It may be genuine, but then again ...
