OK, we've had a Yellow Snow Warning from the Met office (I think Frank Zappa gave one some years ago, for different reasons;)), so stick your snow pictures here.

I'll start with a boring one of our local RC church in the snow.

Hmmm. That's a tough one. Go out in a blizzard with the camera, or stay by the log fire reading a good book, with a nice coffee.
    I'll be in touch.:)

Back and front gardens this morning. As the missus says, always good to be woken up by three inches.

I will be off in a few mins to sort out next year's Christmas cards (there's another thread...)

    ETA some Zappa:

Or always carry a pocket camera and have to nip out to the newsagents for a paper, ciggies and a dodgy croissant.
Or even just point said camera through the window... ;)

Here on Salisbury Plain we have our own micro climate. To the north of us is a thick blanket of snow. Here, however, it' monsoon season.

Alas no white stuff in Southern Devon today. Just 13C with strongish winds and this mess reminding me I need to start tidying it all up :(

The visibility was quite poor around Mam Tor. It was more of a grey out than a whiteout, so boosted the whites considerably here.

Not even had a frost yet, today is wet and windy, gusting to 40+. Minor advantage to the wet stuff is I've not had to fill the bird bath for over a month now.

My house after a meter of snow fell.

    Looking down the street.

Shoveling out the driveway will be fun.

No snow, but temperatures at -4 so the skating pond has ice on it for the first time in forever. Of course, there is now so much plant growth that there'd be no room to skate anyway, even if the temperatures were low enough for long enough to make it safe to do so.

At least you get proper snow, not the small amount that we get that gets us so excited.:)

Went for a walk to sort next years Christmas card (think I mentioned that earlier). Got a bit carried away, did four miles, four churches in 2 1/2 hours!
