Red Dwarf to come back? (For a little bit, anyway.)

 

Yep, shooting starts imminently on 'Red' cameras, don't you know.

I just really like the story of 'smegging' and 'smeg head'. The wroters wanted a naughty word but also wanted the show to run before the watershed. The word 'smegging' was invented and went on air. Only then did a possible origin of the word hit the writers .

 

...And inspired the name of the Smeg virus...

 

Yes, we know.

 

Nothing to do with them working at home, writing the series in the kitchen then?

I heard they used it as they saw it on a particular make of an American fridge.

 

I thoughts they was h'Italian.

Series 8 just went into the realms of stupidity plot wise, nothing clever. I think the last great episode was S7E1. I never though RD was the sort of show that benefited from background laughter.
