I've been spending a lot of time at the coast and have been shooting minimal seascapes as the sea has been so calm recently. Here are a few that I'm happy with.

That sort of thing is not only very pleasant and restful but quite marketable if you can find the right outlet. I especially like the first three.
Would you be prepared for them to be part of the décor as opposed to being individual works of art?
They are very good.

All those were taken after the crowds had gone Pete, only few people were left, but just enough to get them in some of the shots. All taken in Walton too.

Thanks everyone. The sea has been the calmest I have ever seen it recently, a couple of days it's been like glass out there.

 

Pembrokeshire coastal view from May 2014. I've never had this printed, but it's a very restful PC desktop image.

 

I love abstract and/or impressionist seascapes. In fact they're possibly my favourite type of picture, which will probably come as no surprise as a fan of Turner's paintings.
