If your around Woodhouse Mill in Sheffield have a wander along The Rother. On an ordinary day I see Egrets, Sparrow Hawks, Herons, Cormorants, sometimes larger Buzzards, all kinds of Gulls, there’s Foxes if your lucky, Badgers, grass snakes, on and on. Park on the bridge on the B6200 and walk either way, North is good up to the weir at Treeton and South takes you onto Woodhouse Washlands nature reserve. It’s well worth a wander about. Bill.
